Violin

The German-Canadian violinist Nathalie Schmalhofer made her debut at the age of 18 at Carnegie Hall in New York and regularly performs as a soloist with orchestras such as the Israel Chamber Orchestra, the Prague Symphony Orchestra, and the Aachen Symphony Orchestra.

As a guest at renowned festivals including the Aspen Music Festival, the Talis Chamber Music Festival, the Eastern Music Festival in North Carolina, and "Chamber Music Connects the World" in Kronberg, she has performed chamber music with musicians such as Christian Tetzlaff, Steven Isserlis, Antje Weithaas, Tanja Becker-Bender, Tobias Feldmann, Pauline Sachse, and Peter Bruns.

Nathalie has been awarded numerous prizes in both national and international competitions, both as a soloist and in chamber music, including the 1st Prize of the Alois Kottmann Prize, the 1st Prize of the XXII International Violin Competition at the University of Wrocław, the 2nd Prize at the Harald Genzmer Competition in Munich, the 2nd Prize at the Concorso Carlo Maria Giulini, and a special prize at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University Competition.
