Born in Berlin in 1958, Bernd Finkenwirth studied painting and restoration at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts. His work explores the intriguing interplay between proximity and distance, capturing details from up close as well as the vastness of infinite perspectives. In addition to his paintings, the artist also creates sculptures, further expanding his multifaceted artistic expression.
